Data Usage Notice
Norris Electric has several monthly plans available, each of which has a different monthly data allowance. We measure your data usage on a monthly basis and reset it to zero on the same day each month. (This date is the day that we installed your system.) Starting on the first day of your monthly measurement period, all uploaded and downloaded data transmitted using your ViaSat account counts toward your data allowance. Your monthly measurement period is based on the day of the month that your account was first activated. You can view your data usage compared with your monthly data allowance at: wbnorriselectric.ruralportal.net.
If your data usage reaches 100% or more of your monthly data allowance, ViaSat will send you an email. If at any time your data usage exceeds the data allowance, ViaSat may severely slow, restrict, and/or suspend your service, or certain uses of your service, until the end of your monthly measurement period.
If you have exceeded your monthly data allowance and need more data before your trip date, you have two options. The first option is that you may call the office and take your package up to the next level. The second option is to go to your data meter (wbnorriselectric.ruralportal.net) and select “Buy More Now” option and you can purchase up to 5 extra GB. Each GB purchased is $9.99 per GB. This will be added onto your next monthly bill from Norris Electric. Please note that any unused data or additional purchased increments of data do not carry over to the next month.
