Illegal Downloading

Norris Electric strictly prohibits the downloading or distribution of copyrighted material including but not limited to music, movies, television shows, software, games and eBooks. Downloading copyrighted material without the permission of the copyright holder is illegal, and you should not do it. The unauthorized download or distribution of copyrighted works constitutes copyright infringement under the Copyright Act, Title 17 US Code Section 106(3)-(4).

As a user of the Internet, you should be aware that violations of federal copyright laws can result in civil and/or criminal liability, including payment of monetary damages, costs and attorneys’ fees to the copyright owner. ViaSat reminds you that use of the Service in any way constituting an infringement of any copyrighted work is a violation of ViaSats Acceptable Use Policy and may result in the suspension or termination of your Service. Although the allegedly infringed work may have been transmitted by another user in your household without your permission or knowledge, as the primary account holder, you are legally responsible for all activity originating from your account.

Once a violation has occurred, ViaSat will send you an email requesting that you remove any illegal information that you have obtained immediately.

If you are downloading or have downloaded any illegal material, you should cease doing so immediately and delete any illegal downloaded material from your computer.
